CHRONIC FATIGUE / MUSCLE PAIN
"My Condition affects me in many ways. It affects my bones and my muscles causing a great deal of pain and discomfort but in particular the chronic fatigue can be extremely debilitating and as a result, prevents me from being able to participate in everyday life activities, such as being able to work, walking difficulties, swimming, gardening and just enjoying everyday life, which is both upsetting and frustrating for someone like me as I am only in my fifties. The oxygen therapy treatment has helped me a great deal with my condition."
ESOPHIGAL CANCER DIAGNOSIS
"Last year I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer and I approached it with a wide range of treatments. One of these was yourselves and the Barochamber became a weekly visit which I still do to this day. It is very difficult to quantify which treatment has had a beneficial effect on my healing, but with my latest scan showing the tumour to be too small to now show, I think the Barochamber has had an important impact. It is a fact that cancer hates oxygen so what better way to contribute to the demise than by filling your system with it. I am also sure it is doing good to my bodies immune system and will continue to with my weekly slot for the foreseable"
PARKINSONS DESEASE
"My husband started to have sessions once a week, about two years agoat the Hyperbaric Unit in Norfolk. He was diagnosed with Parkinsons when he was 52 nearly 19 years ago. He does not have the version with tremors but has muscle pain and intermittent problems with speech, some movement and walking though this can vary from day to day. We have always felt that it has been beneficial as he does not need a walking aid or wheelchair which is quite unusual after so many years."
